Kurtz: Clinton’s Weinstein strategy backfires

This Week On #MediaBuzz

Hollywood Reporter Editor MATT BELLONI said his publication tried several times to confirm the Harvey Weinstein allegations, and that Weinstein recently threatened to buy the Reporter and have him fired. JESSICA TARLOV said Hillary Clinton were "late to the game" if condemning Weinstein. ERIN McPIKE said of NBC refusing to run Ronan Farrow's Weinstein allegations that other networks regularly kill stories. LAURA INGRAHAM said some conservative commentators continue to oppose President Trump because they're elitists, not populists. GUY BENSON said it was over the top and wrong for Trump to suggest going after networks' licenses over stories he doesn't like. And WILL LEITCH said ESPN's decision to suspend Jemele Hill for suggesting a boycott of the Dallas Cowboys was "a little bewildering."
